e design of the group allows for untrained lay people to work together in a leaderless fashion to explore the exercises. This is an important feature because, rather than taking a didactic approach (where an expert has to deliver important information to others), the Intuitive Heart Discovery methods employ a totally intuitive approach. For example, rather than attempting to define intuition in words, we tune into our hearts and ask for an image of intuition to come to us that will help us to realize our own understanding of intuition. There is a strong dimension of the Socratic method involved in the training exercises.
It is probably the only intuition training program that is not aimed at helping people "get ahead” in the world, thus aiming at enhancing egoistic values. Instead, the focus of the intuition training is to help people get "in harmony” with the world. We are developing a creative, effective and supportive community of Intuitive Heart practitioners. Starting from our time at the Big House, collaboration among the practitioners is encouraged. They work together to innovate, practice, and develop strategies. After the Big House program, as they go through the certification process, they are in communication, helping and supporting one another. We are building something through this process that helps all of us be more successful at connecting folks with their intuitive hearts and all that this connection brings.
