Debra
Debra's
interests and vocation include the practice of astrology, hypnotherapy
and the further development of her intuition. She became an Intuitive
Heart™ Instructor in 1998, and plans to work with Intuitive
Heart groups in D.C. and suburban Maryland. She has also completed
the psychic and intuitive training offered by the Association
for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) to become a Wayshower
- someone who shows others the way to develop and use intuitive
abilities in their daily lives.
Debra has studied
astrology for over 20 years and has been a professional astrologer
since 1992. For the past three years, she has given classes in
beginning, intermediate, and experiential astrology at a variety
of locations, including Kunzang Palyul Chöling (KPC), a
Tibetan Buddhist Temple located in Poolesville, Maryland. She
is also a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt), specializing in stress
reduction and past-life regressions, and is currently conducting
a study comparing what has been theorized about past-life indicators
in the birth chart and their relationship to actual past-life
regressions.
Folks of many
faiths and ethnic backgrounds have participated in her Intuitive
Heart™ groups. All Temple (KPC) participants have noted
that the Intuitive Heart™ process complements and adds to
their [Tibetan Buddhist] practice. In fact one nun commented
that we "know that all is one. In the Intuitive Heart group
you actually experience it."
