     ... I am on a tour, visiting ancient ruins. We all have
fresh new cameras supplied by the tour company. There
are dark-skinned chidren who we are friendly with even
though we can not speak their language ...

     ... a tour of the laboratory. No lights are on, but we
can see by the light of the moon shining in the windows.
After the tour, we go into a large hall to an elevator. I
take a long ride down alone, and then step out into the
brightly lit lobby . . .

     ... I'm in a movie theater with crowds of people
coming in. Then I'm on board a ship. Elsie Sechrist
[author of "Dreams: Your Magic Mirror"] is on board,
and I am happy at the prospect of making the voyage
with her ...

     ... A young man is giving a lecture in an auditorium on
"Metamorphosis of a Butterfly." There is a book, with
beautiful colored pictures of butterflies. The wings of the
butterflies are faces. One that caught my eye was of a
very wise old man ...

     ... I am at my childhood home reading in the news
about an exhibit or fair. There is a $50 first prize for the
best display of a dream. I know I haven't won a prize, but
very much enjoyed taking part. The exhibition hall is
huge and in the center is a giant oval section filled with
dream displays. I walk around filled with happiness and
joy, very glad that next year there will be another
one ...

     Perhaps you can get a feeling from these dreams about
something of a communal or group effort in the research.
Some of the dreams presented even more explicit images
concerning the nature of a cooperative venture in
dreaming.

     ... I am walking to a hill with a man, my brother,
Joseph of Egypt. We walk to the edge of a path around
the hill and sit down, joining the circle of dreamers. It is
dawn, flushed with golden light. There is a stone church
on the hill, with a dark archway in the center. A menace
